        If a fairy granted you the choice between Sporty Spice and Britney Spears to be all yours, whom would you take?   well, uh, sporty seems like a friendly person, but i'm not into all the pretty people from T.V., it seems pretty fake to me.

5.) Musical Stuff

        How did you get involved with music / sXe?   i got into loud music 12 years ago with bands like iron maiden, S.O.D., napalm death, toy dolls, slayer, metallica and D.R.I., (you rule - Stefan) then i discovered more hardcore / metal-bands such as carcass (the gods - Stefan), cro-mags, morbid angel, sick of it all, sepultura, suicidal tendencies, impulse manslaughter, the exploited, dead kennedys, biohazard, agnostic front (you totally rule - Stefan) and then finally i discovered all those great posi-core bands like insted, gorilla biscuits, youth of today, bold, uniform choice and side by side (isn't this guy great?! - Stefan). after that i sold my soul to hardcore and started a band with some friends. after playing some shows and recording a demo my friend jeroen from mainstrike called me and asked if i wanted to join. i was like 'YESSSSSSSSS' because i really liked them. then my old band broke up and i tried to get another old school straightedge-band together where i could sing. this didn't work out but my friends from reaching forward lost their old singer and i told them how much i was into that whole youthcrew-revival. i was reading all ages and tension building like it was the bible. so they thought i would make a good frontman and i became their new singer.

        Which instruments do you play?   i play bass, but, uh, not really good and i like making noise with keyboards and computers.

        Who gave life to Reaching Forward? When was your first show?   pieter, harm and emiel started a punk-band 6 years ago and this was the start of reaching forward, about four years ago it became like a serious straightedge-band.

        Who writes the lyrics and music in Reaching Forward?   harm writes the music with the other guys and i write the lyrics

        Releases?   -pride is everlasting 7" on commitment

        Is there anything you like in particular about being on stage?   jumping around and letting go off my aggression. the best thing is when people are having fun and there are tons of stagedives and massive singalongs

        Anything you hate?   sexist people, narrow-minded people in general.

        What are Reaching Forwards plans for the future? Releases? Tours?   discography-tape on refuse records from poland called 'the conflict' and a new full lenght on reflections which will be released in the summer. in the end of march we'll do another european tour.
